OneAccess Achieves Metro Ethernet Forum MEF 9 and 14 Certification
Validates Service Performance and Compliance of Carrier Ethernet Equipment

June 9th 2010, London and Paris – OneAccess, a leading European provider of multi-service access routers and Ethernet access devices (EADs), today announced it has achieved MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) 9 and 14 Certification.

The Certifications define a global standard to measure and enforce premium carrier Ethernet services, and verifies that OneAccess’ products are MEF-compliant and adhere to service performance and traffic management specifications in the delivery of competitive, triple-play services (voice, video and data).

Mike Wilkinson, CMO at OneAccess Networks, comments; “Achieving MEF 9 and 14 demonstrates OneAccess’ commitment to carrier Ethernet best practice, compliance, and interoperability.  The standards, which are created as a benchmark for quality of service, provide independent validation of our product set.”

MEF 9 serves as a test suite for conformance of Ethernet services and equipment when deployed at the UNI, and MEF 14 provides managed QoS backed by service level specifications for carrier Ethernet services.
