| Thought for Technology-Agnostic Users Users can enjoy on a daily basis IBC that provides very interactive usage: the system intensively uses sound files to guide the user through configuration steps or to interrogate service status. More than 400 sound files (per language) are kept in the system for all various vocal announcements. A friendly web interface is available not only for the administrators but for every user. Everyone can setup advanced services without requiring advanced knowledge. A contextual help guides the user on how to setup and query the voice services. The web interface provides an online address book and call history, from which the user can click-to-dial. Microsoft Windows TM Integration Thanks to OneAccess developped Windows plug in, the user can dial directly from its MS Outlook contacts. A desktop widget taking advantage of Web 2.0 technologies grandly improves user experience: quick service configuration or redial in thus made quick and easy. Efficient Operations for Wide-Scale Deployement Automatic SIP provisioning is possible with selected IP phones for a quick installation: plug the phone, dial a special activation code and the phone is in service. No need to run back and forth between a PC and SIP phone to complete installation. Replacing a phone can be even done by unskilled users, the installation steps being so easy to follow. Overall installation and maintenance costs are thus optimised. Configurations, installation profiles and system upgrades can be fully automated in network management system. Open Standards Non-proprietary, SIP signalling mitigates interoperability issues with SIP phones. OneOS software is modular ; the modules interfacing with the softswitch when working as voice gateway remain unchanged. Therefore OneAccess takes advantage of its long-held experience in interworking with various leading softswitch vendors, thus guarantying easy interoperability. Smooth Migration to IP Telephony Unlike many hybrid-PBX, OneOS-based products are internally full-IP based. However, the products integrate traditional telephone interface (FXS, ISDN). As the number of users grow, new IP-phones extensions can be installed. |
