The SafeCom product range is a high performance multiservice and multiprotocol solution for enterprises. The SafeCom 2200 is designed to be used in medium and large size locations. The concentration of different traffic types provides substantial cost savings and enables to offer value-added multimedia services. By means of its modularity and high switching power, it can be extended gradually in order to keep the pace with the customer’s network evolution. This carrier-class packet switch enables the connection to high-speed operators’ networks using multiple 2 MBPS leased lines or fractional E1/T1 services. The SafeCom 2200 is based on a multiprocessor parallel architecture which guarantees high processing power and failure resilience. It enables the concentration of data, voice and video flows over one integrated Virtual Private Network. The MNOS software embedded into the device offers the Quality of Service (QoS) which is necessary for each application depending on it's specific requirements and optimizes the use of the telecommunication network resources. When completed with the other elements of the SafeCom range from OneAccess, the SafeCom 2200 permits to build homogeneous and evolutive enterprise networks, and to offer new business applications such as Global Intranets, Call-centers, Mail based systems, or Centrex and IP-enabled telephony. In addition to their advanced IP/IPX router and legacy features, the SafeCom 2200 can support up to 2 digital E1 voice interfaces. This product also offers a full set of statistics and QoS information for easier and safer network planning and evolution, using a standard SNMP interface. Moreover, advanced Plug & Play and auto learning functions feature an easy configuration.  |
