The ONE 60 router delivers high performance Internet/IPVPN connections for small and medium businesses and provides reliable and secure access for high-bandwidth applications. Versatility of design enables IP access using either Leased Line (V.11/V.35 PPP), E1/T1, an ADSL or SHDSL uplink.

IP, FR and ATM Quality of Service are highly optimized for service differentiation and real time applications such as telephony and video over the Internet. Powerful firewall and encryption provides enhanced security with high performance throughput. With options for ISDN backup, Ethernet switch and serial port, the ONE 60 can be flexibly upgraded to address a diverse number of customer requirements in one compact unit.

The optional serial port of the ONE 60 can serve as a user port for connection to legacy equipment. If the connected device uses Frame Relay, the traffic is bridged over ATM (xDSL or E1 uplink) using the FRF.5 or FRF.8 interworking function. If the connected equipment is an X.25 device, the ONE 60 manages X.25 transport over TCP/IP (XOT). In both cases, the migration preserves the investment in installed equipment and associated applications, while enabling the use of modern access technologies for lower costs and increased bandwidth delivered to LAN users.
